Matt Reece is pastor of Blvd Abbey.
Matt was born and raised in San Diego, living the last 8 years in the Uptown area. He has over 15
years of ministry experience, holds a BA in Religion/Theology from Pt. Loma Nazarene University, and
is currently pursuing a Masters in Theological Studies.

Matt’s passionate about teaching, spiritual formation, and creating alternative forms of spiritual
community. He enjoys music (both listening to and making it), as well as staring in wonder at great art
and film.
